This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.
They may plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

SBTA’s Admissions Requirements
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age
- Have satisfactorily completed Australian Year 11 or overseas equivalent school qualifications
- English Language Requirement: International students must demonstrate at least an upper-intermediate level of English proficiency, such as an IELTS score of 6.0 or an equivalent score from other recognised tests. Equivalent scores include:
- TOEFL iBT: 60-78
- Cambridge English Exams (B2 First FCE / C1 Advanced CAE): 169 or above on the Cambridge scale
- PTE Academic: 52-58; or
- An English proficiency of upper intermediate level or above from any NEAS accredited ELICOS provider.

Study this course and gain a leadership role across a range
of enterprise and industry sectors where you will be using
initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of
leadership and management functions, with accountability
for personal and team outcomes. You will be using cognitive
and communication skills to identify, analyse and
synthesise information from a variety of sources and
transfer their knowledge to others. You also will learn
creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and
perspectives or respond to complex problems.
Entry Requirements
Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:
Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB
Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
or
Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace
experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.
